⚜️ Smartphone vs Kamerafotografie

They say the best camera is the one you have with you. But if that's really true, we'll see in today's video. hello photo friends, it's nice that you're here again today. my name is marcus florschütz, i am a creative portrait photographer with honor and my goal is to help you to increase the quality of your photos. I am quite sure that each of you knows photos that were taken with a smartphone and have a fake bokeh. you can clearly see when a person is photographed that the background is out of focus. in the past, a smartphone simply produced a certain bokeh and everyone lived with that. smartphone manufacturers have now realized that smartphone users who like to take photos with their cell phones also want a nice background bokeh. and of course, technically .

Speaking, the smartphone doesn't have the same possibilities as a real camera. that's why the smartphone has no choice but to calculate a background bokeh. This means that when a person is photographed, this person is calculated and everything that the mobile phone recognizes as the background or foreground is calculated out of focus. When you see a photo like this, you immediately recognize that it was taken with a smartphone because, firstly, the bokeh doesn't look very authentic because the blurriness is quite often where it really is n't, and secondly, the exposure isn't very good . So when a person is cut out, you can see that the edges are simply out of focus and sometimes you can still see the sheep background at the edge. So you notice immediately when the background bokeh has been calculated. .

And matching the background bokeh we come straight to the factor that defines the bokeh, namely the aperture. Most smartphones don't have a built-in bezel. they just have the sensor and the lenses in front of it and that's it. Of course, this results in a calculated aperture value. That means a smartphone can definitely have an aperture value of F 1.8. But you ca n't adjust this fixed aperture value, which means that if you want to have a higher or lower depth of field with your smartphone, you can of course move closer to the subject or further away, that changes the depth of field. but you cannot change the aperture value. That means you can only change the real depth of field by moving yourself. and so that you don't miss any more important photo videos in the future, subscribe to the channel now and also click on .

The little bell. you really can't compare the image sensor of a smartphone with the image sensor of a real camera. it is significantly smaller and also absorbs significantly less light. paired with the small lens that is in the smartphone, very little light comes through in the end. Of course, mathematically speaking, you can also turn up the ISO value and take bright photos, but the quality suffers as a result. a large image sensor has a much larger area for light to shine on. that's why we automatically have a higher image quality with a large image sensor. Regardless of whether the settings are real or not , you can of course change various camera settings with the right app on your smartphone. for example you can change the kelvin value, the exposure time, the aperture and the .

Iso value. but that doesn't come close to the setting options of a real camera , if the camera offers this, for example, you can also slide the sensor forwards and backwards, you can adjust the sensor, you can fine-tune the autofocus, you can use a different focus mode and much more. unfortunately i can't put a memory card in my iphone 11 . That means when the memory is full, it is full. and that is the big advantage of real cameras or smartphones that can read memory cards. we work here with memory cards that can be changed. That means, depending on how big the cards are or how many you have, you can take pictures for a longer or shorter time before you have to empty the cards. i think it's more typical with smartphones that people take endless photos .

And don't regularly save them to their laptop or pc. That means at some point the memory is full, then you get annoyed and then you are almost forced to sort out the photos and save them. I definitely recommend that you back up the photos regularly, regardless of whether you take photos with a smartphone or camera, and not at too long intervals. so that you don't have to sort out a huge avalanche of photos. but so that the whole thing remains manageable. I've already made my own video on the topic of calculating storage space, I'll link it to you here as always, feel free to watch it. when you take photos with a real camera, you have a much greater variety of lenses than when you take photos with a smartphone. Of course, that also depends on which manufacturer you use to photograph. and of course there are also lenses for smartphones .

That you can put on or hold in front of it, but remember that you are always using two lenses in front of each other. because you already have a lens built into your smartphone. That means that it is not optimal for the quality to use two lenses that were produced separately in front of each other. Of course, this also applies to photography with cameras. if you have a lens on it and screw a teleconverter filter onto it at the front, for example, which extends the focal length for you, simply with a lens, or a wide-angle filter that gives you another picture, then the quality is not optimal. that means always make sure that we have as few objective ones as possible, i.e. one objective. Of course you can't have a lens on it either, that's also possible, but then you'll see very quickly that you wouldn't be able to take good photos. And if you .

're a fan of manual focusing, then of course you can't do that with your smartphone either. because you don't have a ring on the cell phone lens that you can rotate. maybe there is the possibility to shift the distance with an app using a distance scale on the display, so to speak, that would then perhaps be manual focusing, but actually it's just shifting the autofocus. If you know any good smartphone apps with which you can take photos manually, or focus manually, or change many settings, please let me know in the comments. In general, it's actually an advantage if you take the photos with your smartphone and then edit them straight away. the camera doesn't do that. you can take a photo, but you ca n't actually edit it in the camera. but i'm not quite sure if that's an advantage, because i see .

A lot of photos that have been edited with a cell phone and then just been edited too much. it starts with the bokeh, then goes through the saturation, the sharpness, the filter, etc. and of course that's not high-quality processing. and the camera is more designed to take a high-quality photo that can then be edited separately afterwards. When it comes to flexibility, I have to say quite clearly that the smartphone wins. because of course you always have it with you and you can always take photos and videos. In most cases you don't have the big camera with you, ie if you want to take a picture of something you take your mobile phone out of your pocket and take a picture. actually, it doesn't really matter that much whether we take photos with a smartphone or with a camera, as long as, firstly, we have fun doing it and secondly, the result is a photo .

That we want to take. If it's your turn now, that means you want to improve the quality of your photo. that's why I recommend my video in the endcard. I'll give you 10 tips for picture composition. the composition of the picture is extremely important, even more so than the equipment. I say thank you for watching. nice that you were there and see you in the next video. until recently.
